At the occasion of a very special birthday, Concerto was asked to develop an invitation that would really stand out, despite a limited budget and print run. The goal was to invite 20 VIP couples to a short stay in Verbier (Switzerland).
The agency took up the challenge with a simple idea : the invitation would be sent frozen in a big ice cube.
To resist water, the invitation had to be printed on synthetic material. Several attempts were made to reach the desired quality standard.
Concerto also wanted a packaging that lived up to the concept : wooden boxes were made to measures and personalized with a ingenious laser print transfer technique.
The ice cube was only a part of the iceberg : the agency also designed an e-invitation, and an online automated form allowing the guests to enter all the information needed to prepare their stay.
With a below 2 K EUR budget, the agency succeeded to turn a simple invitation into a real jawdroping event.
